The Apparel & Technical division is dedicated to the development and production of yarns and flock for clothing and technical applications.
Manufacturers of advanced textile solutions
The Apparel & Technical division focuses on the development and production of yarns and flock fibres for apparel and technical applications. These include lightweight, innovative yarns — in both nylon and polyester — ideal for sportswear, fashion, underwear, and hosiery, as well as high-tenacity yarns for technical fabrics.
Our strengths include:
-A wide range of recycled or bio-based yarns;
-Full control over production cycles;
-Sustainability assessment of our products (PEF, EPD, LCA).
All our products are recyclable at end of life.

Research laboratories
The research and development laboratories of the Apparel & Technical Business Line play a key role in creating innovative solutions for specialised applications. Through continuous exchange of know-how and expertise between R&D teams, it is possible to develop high-performance solutions aligned with our sustainability strategy and the principles of the circular economy.
Apparel & Technical Chemical Laboratory – Villa d'Ogna, Bergamo, Italy
We monitor the polymers, the incoming raw materials, the quality of our wastewater following treatment in our purification plant and, more generally, our environmental emissions, all on a daily basis. We also conduct tests on materials under development.
Apparel & Technical Textile Laboratory – Villa d'Ogna, Bergamo, Italy
We check our yarns daily in accordance with a carefully-defined sampling plan. We analyse a wide range of yarn parameters and properties in our laboratory, in order to ensure compliance with our standards as well as consistency over time. In addition, materials are subjected to tests to verify their characteristics and improve the ways in which they are used.
Apparel & Technical Textile Laboratory – Ardesio, Bergamo, Italy
We carry out checks on yarns destined for orthogonal weaving and warp-knit fabrics. We verify the characteristics of the thread, check dyeing and test materials in the development phase.
Apparel & Technical Textile Laboratory – Săvinești, Romania
We check our yarns daily, following a carefully-defined sampling plan. In our laboratory, we analyse numerous yarn parameters and properties, in order to ensure compliance with our standards as well as its consistency over time. We also carry out analyses on customer fabrics and checks on dyeing characteristics, using the sample sock technique. Additionally, we also test materials during the development phase.
